Pittsburgh International Airport is a key regional asset in Western Pennsylvania, and the Pittsburgh Mastermind Group heard from two leaders about what’s happening there to prepare property for future development. This month’s guest speaker was David Storer of the Allegheny County Airport Authority who along with Member Roger Pearson of Civil & Environmental Consultants offered an overview of the work by Pearson’s firm so far to move toward recommendations to make the land more appealing to developers and companies seeking to relocate. One key challenge that emerges is transportation – a better, faster and more efficient way is needed to get people from the Oakland and Downtown to the airport and back.
