Atlanta Real Professionals Member, Mike Patterson with Commercial Realty Services of West Georgia reports having $6M in self storage properties under contract that will be closing by March. Mike, who also serves as a regional broker with ARGUS, told the Atlanta Midtown Mastermind group that increasing demand of more than 1 M SF per year is driving self storage activity with 2.7M SF under construction, permitted or applied for in Georgia. There is a 2 year supply in the pipeline which will compress cap rates. Once built, established and stabilized, Mike calls the profit potential phenomenal.
