Real Estate Trends: Will the pace pick up in 2019?

Members and guests of REAL Chicago gathered to hear speaker, Danielle Leach, Midwest Regional Director of Metro Study. Danielle provided insights on the residential real estate markets, job growth in new construction and real estate disruptors. Overall, the news is good but it’s not great. It is predicted that the real estate markets in 2019 won’t be gangbusters but will experience slow steady work flow. Danielle also highlighted how I-robots are disrupting real estate sales. With I-robots, consumers are able to purchase new homes online changing the traditional format of a real estate deal that included a middleman.

Prior to the presentation, everyone in attendance shared their updates on what they see happening in the markets at this time of the year. As the year-end rapidly approaches, many real estate professionals are busy getting deals closed.
