Keith Roche, City Council Member for the City of Lawrenceville gave an excellent presentation on the re-development of the City of Lawrenceville. Lawrenceville has historically been a city that looked at itself as a utility doing government work on the side; never investing in infrastructure and no interest in growth. The City started changing its vision with Gwinnett College and the Aurora Theatre. The vision statement has been at the heart of everything the City is doing from the South Lawn project, the City View project, the Hilton-Tapestry Parking Deck project, the College Corridor and the expanded Performing Arts Center.
