The Philadelphia real estate group had the opportunity to learn from Paul Fiorilla of Yardi Matrix about research and data related to both the national and Philadelphia real estate economies, including projections on multifamily construction over the next few years. Paul discussed a variety of factors that relate to Philadelphia demographics and how the city’s numbers stack up to national averages in a variety of areas. The group also participated in an informative and productive roundtable discussion that included discussions of proposed rent control legislation, LIBOR index changes, the current jobs report, opportunity zones, the 3rd Street water main break and the re-purposing of old shopping centers.
