Not surprisingly, the RPN Meeting began with various members sharing how the Coronavirus is impacting their industry and how their firms are responding. Sanitation, telecommuting, domestic and international travel bans, and outbreak protocols topped the list of how members’ businesses will maintain operations and serve clients over the upcoming weeks of uncertainty. Although CRE activity currently remains stable, discussions about cancelled industry events and conferences raised questions about how some, including the hospitality sector, may be temporarily or permanently affected.
