There was an interesting conversation this month regarding the new Mayor’s choice of “personalities” and how Mayor Jim Kenney wants to change things up after 8 years. He is strategically choosing members who will be more friendly to the development and real estate industry. More specifically, the group discussed Bobby Henon, who will now be the majority leader and gives a strong force as well as a counterbalance to the council president. Bobby Henon is someone who has reached out to development and understands that the building trades and development community need to go hand-in-hand.
