Roundtable Chair: Andrew Porio with Tax Credit Marketplace

Andrew Porio serves as Vice President of Business Development for Tax Credit Marketplace, LLC and its affiliated companies. He is an accomplished wealth management professional with over 25 years of experience developing high-net-worth relationships and solutions in financial planning, private banking, investment management, trust and estate planning, and risk management.

He is responsible for raising capital for the firm’s funds focused on Federal Historic Preservation Tax Credits as well as SC Abandoned Buildings, SC Textile Communities Revitalization, and SC Historic Preservation Tax Credits.

Andrew works closely with accredited investors, corporate executives, CPAs, attorneys, commercial real estate brokers, bankers, family offices, and wealth management professionals. He leads the business development efforts connecting developers of real estate projects to tax credit investors as well as educating economic development professionals throughout the Southeast.

He has cultivated over $115 million in asset management relationships generating $920,000 in recurring fee revenue by representing leading national and regional banking institutions. He has developed an extensive network of high-net-worth clients and trusted advisor relationships throughout the Southeast, having held positions focused on relationship management, lending, private banking, and wealth management.

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Economics from Clemson University. He is a current member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors Commercial Investment Division, Urban Land Institute (ULI), and South Carolina Economic Development Association (SCEDA). He is a moderator of Real Professionals Network (RPN) Charleston and is a frequent speaker at Main St. SC workshops across SC. He previously served on several non-profit boards of directors in Naples, Florida. Andrew holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses.
