Director of the City of Miami Real Estate Asset division Daniel Rottenberg discussed the high volume of active real estate transactions as well as the RFP process that he describes as unique. With 46 projects under construction and 65 more planned or proposed in the City of Miami including the $150M Beckham Miami Stadium, All aboard Florida – Miami Central, and Watson Island Development, there are more than 300 transactions in the works. There are many challenges for managing the city’s buildings portfolio while Miami is reshaping yet maintaining the integrity of the distinctive neighborhoods.
