Mike Martin updated the Midtown Mastermind Group on the latest OmniTRAX project near Savannah. In a cooperative arrangement, with the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority, OmniTRAX will develop the former Research Forest Tract, now known as the Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub that is comprised of 2,700 acres with “dual rail service” from both CSX and Norfolk Southern. Dual rail served properties have two Class 1 railroads on the property and provide tremendous long term value to building owners and operators. OmniTRAX will provide the capital for the infrastructure on the property including rail lines, roads, bridges and utilities.
