Atlanta Perimeter Mastermind Meeting Guest, Patrick Henderson, CEO of the Atlanta Sports Connection reports on the development of the 200 acre sports entertainment venue at the Stonecrest Mall area down I – 20 in south DeKalb County. The project with 1.6 miles of road frontage and 3 major road entrances, is currently owned by Urban Retail with a leasing arrangement with Atlanta Sports City. The project has been underway since 2010 with the site expected to close September 9th and plans to break ground this fall.

Patrick has experience working with sports tournaments across the country and internationally. Sports Facility Advisors in Clearwater was hired to analyze the Atlanta market and determine what would be sustainable/successful as a sports venue encompassing a dine, play, shop and stay development.
