The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust continues their efforts to revitalize the downtown area through partnerships with local businesses and the redevelopment of aging assets into mixed use facilities. The Trust’s robust programming – much of which is free – touches 2 million people each year. The Trust’s latest initiative involves the placement of 25 public art bike racks throughout downtown, and in 2018, they will commence the redevelopment of the 8th street block into a residential-focused, mixed use destination with an artistic flare.
