Detroit REAL Professionals held their January meeting and featured Matt Fenster from Etkin Real Estate Solutions as the member spotlight. Formed in 1982, Etkin is a full spectrum commercial real estate organization engaged in the acquisition, management, and development of office, retail, hotel, mixed-use and industrial properties. Matt Fenster explains that Etkin has two areas of operation with the first being owned assets and the second being the third party area which is Matt’s concentration.

Among several of its current projects, Etkin is developing a site in downtown Royal Oak in the central business district. The Royal Oak Office Center features 74,000 square feet of premium quality office space near 11 Mile Road and Main Street, with ample on-site covered parking.

Etkin has developed more than 60 high-profile properties consisting of over 9.5 million square feet of commercial space in Michigan. The company has out-of-state investors and position groups that own and occupy their buildings and Etkin manages those buildings. They also manage properties for real estate funds and REITS.
