During this month’s DC Mastermind Meeting, INTEC Group’s newest Fitments managers shared how commingling, connectivity and intergenerational comfort and accessibility are informing the interior design of the office, residential and other projects they work on.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s Andy Bauer led a conversation and lent some insight on some of the issues currently dividing the Fed’s board members, such as whether to cut rates, be more proactive in reaching target inflation goals, and the impact of uncertainty and under-investment. Bauer also shed light on why the current state of the economy has even some economists stumped on how to guide monetary policy and what the economic outlook is for a country many executives expect to experience a recession within the next year. Other topics included the shifting tides of the DC restaurant industry and why some executives are looking forward to a recession.
