• Historic preservation helps us to understand who we are where we came from and where we are going

• Continuing to see a healthy amount of RFPs
• Governor’s budget expected within the next 2 weeks providing insight on state funded projects
Katie Irwin – Quinn Evans
• Work continues to be steady
• Renovation and restoration strong with Embassies, Park Service work and other areas of Federal Government
George Martin – McGuire Woods
• Locations workloads are busy
• Lots of interest in public – private projects with the expectation of interest rates being more favorable when projects are expected to reach the funding stage
• Actively looking for new talent and within the last year have hired
o 58 New associates out of Law School
o 100 Lateral associates
Chris Messersmith-Divaris
• Smaller and medium sized groups – office and retail sectors – actively looking for spaces, whereas; larger organizations have paused
• Spaces less than 5,000 sq ft are leasing
• Investment/Sales side are seeing a pause
