Bart Mellits is the Chair of the Real Estate Department, Partner, member of the elected board and expanded board in the law firm of Ballard Spahr. Bart’s practice is focused in a variety of leasing, acquisition, development, loan and workout real estate transactions. He received his BA degree, cum laude from Georgetown University and his law degree from George Washington Law School where he was the Associate editor of the George Washington Journal of International Law and Economics. He has been recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2009-2015), Best Lawyers in America (2009-2016).
