Charlotte Members reported that they are continuing to see growth in the multi-family sector. Member Jane Barkley, Senior Commercial Title Attorney of Investors Title Company, reported that multi-family units currently being built, as well as those still in the contemplation phase, may only meet the projected needs for Charlotte. Guest Jeff Mylton, Market President of HomeTrust Bank, shared that approximately 41 people move to Charlotte each day (close to 15,000 a year), which is enabling the multi-family market to grow along with increasing rents.
