Members and guests at the recent Dallas REAL Professionals meeting welcomed Caroline Compton who a Senior Associate, WELL AP and FITWEL Ambassador at Corgan in Dallas. She was the first employee at Corgan to receive her WELL accreditation (WELL is the leading tool for advancing health and well-being in buildings globally).
Caroline shared many tips on how to better improve not only the air, water and lighting in a work place, but to also include and think about how sound, comfort and nourishment also affects employees. Environmental elements, space layout and lighting are all extremely important when creating a WELL area. WELL also positions building design and operations as agents of public health. They measure, verify and monitor building features that impact health and well-being of the employees.
Caroline opened the eyes of those in attendance to how things are changing in the work place and gave many suggestions to offering a healthy and more enjoyable place to work!
