Almost two years to the day after disbanding, members of the former Gulf South Mastermind group came together at McDowell Knight Roedder and Sledge in Mobile to discuss reforming the networking group once again. Rick Lackey was on hand to detail the changes in the Real Professionals Network approach to deliberate networking and extol the power the group has to connect people who want to do business with one another. The group discussed quarterly meetings with membership drawn from Mobile, AL; Pensacola, FL; and Gulfport-Biloxi, MS. Attendees mentioned that there is a natural synergy between the three markets that share proximity, but that there’s not much business being conducted across state lines. The participants adjourned the meeting to deliberate about restarting the group with the new format, with a decision expected at a later date.
