The Philadelphia Mastermind Group heard from Job Itzkowitz, Executive Director of the Old City District. Job discussed the organization’s vision for the next ten years and about some of the projects they’ve been focusing on. He highlighted several upcoming projects, especially the Market Street Transformation project, which will improve pedestrian and bicycle traffic in the area, as well as the park cap over I-95, Christ Church Park and Dolly Ottey Park. He also talked about a need for grocery and other types of food sources in the area and the impact of the lack of those services on rents in the neighborhood.
