WeLive Concept In Beta Testing in Crystal City

Vornado has leased 2221 South Clark St. to WeWork, which is beta testing its “WeLive” co-living space. 65 people are testing 40 units in the 216-unit building; the smallest units are just 350 square feet but come with ample communal space. “There is some risk associated with it,” said Vornado/Charles E Smith president Mitchell Schear, “but our hope is we were there early. It will be economic and a bit game changing.”
