On the Tenant Representative side, Vijay Shah of Trademark Properties reported his restaurant client The Shuckin’ Shack in Cary is doing well, and the concept has plans for another store in the Durham/Chapel Hill MSA and three locations in Charlotte. Shah noted the current challenge of securing restaurant space in Durham. The Shuckin’ Shack also has Wilmington and Carolina Beach locations. Shah also has a new, well-funded pizza concept out of Baltimore/Washington DC looking for a spot on Franklin St. in Chapel Hill.
