Laura Seidel, partner at Ballard Spahr, reports her research on Atlanta apartment towers shows rents for studio apartments start at $1,650. A  3-bedroom condo rent is as high as $3,500 a month. Mike Dvorscak with The William B. Hare Company reports studios in Midtown around 600 SF were getting $2/SF on the low end per month several months ago and now well above that.  With the cost of land up, construction costs up along with two major league stadiums being built and difficulty of finding labor, all of these factors are impacting Atlanta prices.
