Neal Freeman, developer of LakePoint Sporting Community and speaker at the RPN Atlanta Midtown Group Meeting, has a background of building/developing 52 Publix supermarkets, three athletic children, and a belief in competitive travel sports for kids before it’s present popularity, now a $9B industry, the fastest growing segment in the entire travel industry. After 2008, Neal saw opportunity in buying a large tract of land and is now a developer of LakePoint up I-75, 25 minutes north of Buckhead, a 1400 acre sports vacation destination with hotels, restaurants, athletic fields and entertainment. Cost of the land was $15,000 an acre. All 50 states are coming to LakePoint to compete and play sports.
