Founding member Kirk Bradley of Lee-Moore Capital Company and member Tom White of NC State both commented that North Carolina is a finalist for Toyota/Mazda’s joint $1.6 billion EV factory pursuit in the U.S., looking at the Greensboro-Randolph megasite. Kirk said the possibility has triggered many economic development requests by other businesses who would serve as factory suppliers. The announcement should be made by December 2017.
